Join Fiongal Greenlaw of The Wellness Foundry and Charlotte Vida-Stow of The House of Palms for a special Summer Solstice event. We will to mark the season with a warming energy evening retreat, set in the beautiful Crabtree & Evelyn Islington Townhouse, London.
Summer Solstice
As we enter June and approach the summer solstice, we want to celebrate the new light. Therefore, we will prepare our bodies and minds to embrace the upcoming energy shift.
The idyllic surroundings of Crabtree & Islington, decorated wtih flower mandalas, will be our safe space. The evening will involve lots of internal ‘hugs’ and drawing on the sun’s energy. As a result we will bring about forward action and brighter thinking.
All are welcome to join our circle:
- Yoga flow – light practice for all abilities of Vinyasa followed by a short period Yin.
- Restorative crystal and flower meditation*
- Flower petal mandala healing circle
- Guided summer solstice visualization
- Time for setting intentions and journalling
Fiongal will lead a dynamic vinyasa class allowing you to come out of your mind and into your bodies, and connecting you with the breath. Poses will be matched with mantras and life lessons for you to take from the mat into everyday life. To follow, a short period of Yin: a slow, profoundly calming practice that will ready us for the healing crystal meditation. Using crystals in our resting pose allows great focus, profound restoration as well allowing us to connect with our intuition.
Afterwards, Charlotte will take us on a journey: incorporating sound, mantras and a guided visulization. Based around the theme of the Sun and how you can bring its energy into your life.
*Please feel free to bring your own crystals for the śvasāna. There will also be crystals for you to borrow or purchase at £2/stone. Flowers will be provided.
